Appearance

With the youthful appearance of most men in their twenties, Drake has a few things that set him apart from others. The first of these is obviously his dyed blue hair. While it originated from his crush on Jane, he kept it after she died quite simply because he liked the way it looked. The shade is an absolute neutral blue, instead of light or dark. His naturally messy hair makes it quite simply fall into random places, depending on the wind and how long he lets it get. Even though it is messy, it is rather soft, due mostly to genetics.

The second odd thing about his appearance is his face tattoo, on his right eye. The tattoo is tribal in origin, starting at his forehead and ending on his cheek. Though the tattoo is small, since it is on his face it is easily noticed. The last main difference between him and generally every other male his age is his musculature. Standing at 6' even, Drake weighs almost 220lbs, without including his equipment. While he had never been a body builder, nor a strongman, he was always somewhat athletic. Becoming a vampire only enhanced his natural muscle, and added definition. This does not mean he completely lacks body fat, but he has little enough where it is easy to see his muscle, while still being healthy. This is also because his diet consists of blood, like all vampires.

Unlike some vampires, Drake prefers to look stylish in his own definition. He often wears the blue cloak his father gave him, which covers his Body Armor, which further covers his sleeveless blue shirt. He also wears loose fitting blue jeans, because nudity is for plebeians. Indeed, he wears underwear as well, a nondescript style of underwear. His feet are usually covered by thick leather work boots, brown in color.

Equipment

Silver Bladed Sword - At first, a sentimental gift from his lover, this weapon was made to be wielded by a vampire to kill other supernatural beings. While the blade itself is silver, the handle is made of steel. This was originally used for simple decoration and collection, Drake had it fixed to preform as well as a real sword, for his mercenary career. The length of the blade is five foot, with the hilt being a foot long. The blade is also six inches wide, with the hilt stretching out an extra four inches from the blade on each side.

Five Seven Customized - A basic customized weapon, in this case, a handgun known as the Five Seven. The gun itself has been customized to have a very strong trigger of twenty pounds, making it hard for normal humans to use. With Drake's strength, however, it becomes easy. The gun is also customized with an extended clip, increasing the amount of bullets per magazine to 40. Drake carries two magazines with him, one in the gun, and one attached to his belt. The range is not changed from the normal, making the most effective range being 50 meters and lower, though the bullets can go up 1510 meters. The bullets are normal 5.7×28mm rounds, with no special ingredients, such as silver, added.

Steelback Gloves - These gloves serve two purposes. The first is to allow Drake to interact with holy and silver items without damage, due to the lack of skin contact. The second is to add protection to his hands, allowing him to block both bullets and blades via his gloves. The gloves have somewhat thick steel plates attached to the back of the hands and fingers, along with a patch on the palm. The steel is nothing special, but is capable of blocking most blades and bullets which are not made to pierce steel.

Kevlar Armor - 45 layers of kevlar protect the chest and torso of the wearer, though it is limited to mostly small firearms and small projectiles. Heavier rounds and armor piercing rounds will break through rather easily.

Personality

Drake had once been a very naive and trusting child, filled with hope and love more than anything else. However, behind his nice nature lay a dormant anger that could shake the heavens. In fact, his anger caused much of his problems during his childhood, which further developed him. An important of Drake is his intelligence, regardless of which age he is being discussed at. Drake had always been a quick learner, and this enabled him to learn a great deal of different things. As a child, he looked to this as a curse, since it further alienated him from his peers. Being so alienated created a deep depression in Drake, as well as an attention seeking personality trait, though he went about it in a far different method.

Instead of trying to do well in school or be overly athletic for attention, Drake developed a wicked sense of humor. 'Wicked' in more than one definition of the word. Drake loved all forms of humor, and began to see it everywhere. He developed a particular taste for sarcasm and irony. While this helped with his depression, he still had many issues. For one, he could hardly develop any friendships with anyone due to his long lasting status as an outcast, giving him the social understanding of a newborn. Even with that, however, he learned a great deal of psychological information, though that did not help him when it came to actually forming genuine friendships. Eventually, he decided to let them happen naturally, which made his social life infinitely better. In classic routine of highschool drama, he went from desperate loser, to outcasted loner, which is a surprisingly large step.

As a grown man, Drake has dealt with his depression, issues, and anger all by a single word. 'Why'. Why waste significant time focusing on feelings that he did not like when he could be out having fun? Jane taught him that, actually. After her death, he realized he needed to live more than he needed to remember. Even so, he often has nostalgia of better times. However, this train of thought led to a semi-sociopath mentality, where, while he can make connections to human beings, he sees those he is unconnected to as tools he can throw away at will. However, as a counterbalance to this view of other humans, Drake is intensely loyal to those he does make connections with. An odd thing about Drake is how he can become a bridge of hostilities. This is because he does not think a fight between his friends should involve him, and he will absolutely refuse to participate in one, unless under drastic circumstances.

Drake has a few issues that most would label morally 'fucked up'. One of these is his ability to deal with death well, so long as the person who died was not directly close to him. Another is his inability to properly display the emotions he feels, often giving the appearance that he does not care about others, to those who either do not know him, or do not know how to read people. Though he cannot display emotions as easily as most people, he does feel them, usually much more intensely than normal people. When dealing with strangers or people he does not like, Drake is often reserved and calm, projecting an 'aura' of 'fuck off'. Once he gets to like someone, this attitude is replaced by a small but constant smile and humorous remarks about pretty much everything.

As previously stated, Drake has always had an anger that posed a danger to him. For most people, anger blinds them, leading them to rash decisions. Drake, oddly, is someone whose rage focuses, rather than blinds. Drake often makes more deadly moves and attacks when he is truly angered. This can be either physical or psychological. The downside to this kind of rage is that it focuses solely on the target, unless his life is in danger.

Abilities

Regenerative Potential: Level 1 (15 posts for major damage)
Physical Abilities: Level 0 (Initial vampirism catapults any individual to the peak of human strength, agility, stamina and reflexes)
Durability: Level 0 (No noticeable difference compared to an average human), susceptible to unblessed damage (can still prove fatal in excessive amounts)
Additional Supernatural abilities: Ability to turn people of the opposite sex into vampires like themselves by allowing a victim to ingest their blood, drain a victim of blood to turn them into very weak Revenants, required to drink blood often, large weakness to sunlight (causes burning sensation), sink in large bodies of water and cannot cross unassisted, become 1 level weaker in all appropriate abilities when surrounded by running water.

Hypnotism - Having been turned by Jane, a vampire highly skilled with Hypnotism, coupled with his natural skill for manipulation and psychology, Drake is capable of hypnotizing those of low will power. This being because the lineage of vampires that Jane came from, meaning all the original vampire of said lineage turned, became highly skilled at mental abilities. This continued down to Jane, who spread the ability to Drake. Adding in the natural charisma and manipulating skills that Drake possesses only helped enhance it further, so that the usually Talamaur class ability is accessible even at his Newborn level.

Sword Master - Where most sword 'masters' train a specific style, and very rarely against actual people, Drake constantly sparred against his friend, who was on equal grounds with him in terms of skill. As such, his skill with a sword is far beyond most. It is notable that he does not use a specific style, rather that his sword skills revolve around adapting to the opponent and countering them, rather than being totally offensive or defensive.

Weapons Expert - Through his natural intelligent and instinct, Drake is capable of applying his sword skills to any bladed weapon, including spears, daggers, claws, and chainsaws, of nearly any style, though the more exotic ones are out of his reach.

Handgun Expert - While not nearly as skilled with a gun as he is with a sword, Drake has proven to be capable of firing accurately, far more so than the normal man, thanks to his vampiric senses. Even then, his ability with handguns does not match true masters, as he lacks both the instinct and experience that most have.

Computer Knowledge - Though he lacks hacking skills, Drake is capable of using a computer and pretty much all programs that run on a computer, with ease. This allows him to use google, which pretty much assures he can learn what he needs to.

Driving Skills - While Drake is capable of driving any domestic vehicle with ease, his most skilled vehicle is a motorcycle. He does not have advanced knowledge of the less domestic vehicles, though he does know how to steer a plane easily, as should anyone with common sense.

Charisma - Even without his hypnotism, Drake has proven his skill in manipulation and inspiration over and over. Drake has some ridiculous ability where most people will like him when they first meet him, due to his personality and welcoming nature. However, at the same time, Drake is capable of manipulating nearly anyone he has basic knowledge of rather easily. Alternatively, he can inspire them to do something.

Throwing Accuracy - While not a specialized skill, such as his melee or handgun skills, Drake can hit nearly anything with a throwing weapon, so long as it is within a 25 meter radius. His skills with throwing weapons range from javelins, his personal favorite, to knives, to grenades, to people.

Language and Understanding - Drake can read, write, understand, and speak both english and french. However, outside of verbal communication, Drake can usually understand people by hand motions, tone, and position. This gives him a vague understanding of what they are trying to say. If someone is screaming at him in another language, and pointing to the side, he will likely look that way and dodge whatever is coming towards him.

Biography

As with most births, Drake's was the aftermath of his parents smacking their genitals together in excess of fifteen minutes. For the first few years of his life, he was unaware, in that he has no recollection of his years before the age of three. In fact, his very first memory was realizing that he could not remember anything, yet somehow knew how to do various tasks, and speak. Afterwards, he began to live life as a child of that age would. That is to say, he lived how his Aunt directed him. This was because his mother lost a custody battle against his father, but somehow his aunt got custody of not only him, but his four siblings as well. Let it be known that Drake was a very naive and trusting child. As such, when he was told to respect his elders, he did. The same reasoning caused him to begin to read the bible, although at his young age he barely understood it. Because his entire family was Baptist, he went to church with them every week, becoming ever more interested in the Christian faith.

Before he reached the age of five, however, he had two near death experiences, which may not have been, but he would never know due to circumstances. While he lived with his aunt, he had to do chores, such as vacuuming. Yes, his aunt required a four year old child to vacuum. Surprisingly, this went rather well until Drake accidentally unplugged the vacuum cleaner by himself, and received a shock. It would have killed him, if not for several factors, such as the natural protection of the home's wiring, which had been made to prevent this exact thing. The other situation was when he, not knowing what it was, let a black widow crawl on his hand. Due to Drake's lack of fear of spiders at the time, and his steady movement, the spider never bit him. If it had, it may not have even injected any venom, as is their nature.

From the age of five, things began to change very quickly. One such thing is how his mother managed to regain custody on him, by proving she was indeed not addicted to drugs. For a small time, he, his siblings, and his mother, all lived in an apartment together. Drake quickly realized he loved his mother far more than he liked his aunt. Within a few months, the man his mother had been dating, suggested they move into his house, which was far too large for a single human. Within the year, Drake began to see the man as his father, since his biological father did not care for any of his children enough to even send a call their way.

The man, Roberto, turned out to be a Protestant Priest, and with Drake's curiosity on the subject, they got along straight away. Unlike most churches at the time, the one Roberto preached at was one which accepted literally everyone, regardless of gender, race, sexuality, age, or even current religion. Unfortunately, it was not a very popular church, so its influence did not spread very far.

Later on, when he started school, his connections to the church proved fatal to his social life before it even began. Because the church was known, though still unpopular with the community, their acceptance of homosexuals was well known, causing the adults to assume that Drake was being brought up as a homosexual, since most lack understanding of sexualities beyond their own. Since he was in a small town, in the southern region of the United States, he was essentially ostracized. Due to this, he did not develop most social ideals that people often hold close to them, such as fear of things that are different, or how to talk to strangers. Worse yet, his siblings were horrible to him, due to his position as the youngest.

However, Drake, during his highschool years, realized this was actually a blessing. For one, while being an outcast meant he had very few friends, they were all completely trustworthy, due to their own lack of friends. Going a step further, Drake realized he had a natural charisma, undamaged by social morals which were created during childhood interactions. One of the less excitable things being an outcast caused him was free time. For most high schoolers, this would be a blessing. For Drake, who had been a prodigy in academical arts from a young age, the free time was spent being bored, until he decided to find a few hobbies. The first of which, was swordsmanship. For most, this would be hard to practice, and harder to use. Drake had a natural affinity for bladed weapons, ranging from spears to claws, but he absolutely excelled with swords, whether using one or two. Though most of his training was practical, he did learn some basic theory on stances. His training was mostly with a friend who also had a fondness for swords. Since they were bored teenagers and lived close together, they were able to practice every night, giving Drake more experience than most who actively fought with a sword. Among many other hobbies he developed, the two greatest were learning French, and practicing many ranged weapons, ranging from throwing knives to guns, though all were legal.

Amusingly, this nightly activity gave him enough muscularity to become attractive towards most teenagers around his age. This, indirectly, caused his vampirism. One of the more popular girls at the school was a recently turned vampire, who was simply trying to live life, but did not want to live alone. Using her skills at hypnosis, which were utterly incredible for a vampire of newborn status, she managed to manipulate Drake into falling for her. At least, that was her perception of it. In truth, Drake had a crush on the girl for a while, and the hypnosis did not work, for a long list of reasons ranging from Drake's affinity towards psychology, his awareness, and his stubbornness.

She, being a rebellious and somewhat gothic girl, loved dyed hair and tattoos. Drake, being the hormonal teen he was, gladly decided to go with it, and get both. Since he was eighteen, his parents had no say about his decision to do so. While his parents disapproved, they did not block him either. In short, it ended up with a surprisingly stylish face tattoo around his eye, and not-horrible blue hair. His new girlfriend obviously approved. Eventually his family came to accept the changes and they met his new girlfriend. Although they were not overly friendly with her, it was clear they were not hostile either. In truth, they were coming to terms with their son growing up, as he had always been very close to them.

Unfortunately, as with many families, someone fell ill and died. In this case, it was Drake's mother. As it turned out, she had an issue with her heart, and this caused her heart to fail, obviously causing death. Naturally, Roberto and Drake were devastated. In his depression, Drake spent a lot of time with his girlfriend, Jane. To help distract him, and because she figured it was about time to confess, Jane told him what she was. Drake was, due to the numbness coming from the acceptance of his mother's death, not outwardly shocked. This was mostly due to a hobby of figuring out possibilities using a variety of physics, philosophy, and biology. He came to one startling conclusion. Humans did not know jack shit. They only judge based on what they have experienced, in an infinite universe where it was entirely possible some sections of the universe behaved in entirely different manners. The same could easily be true for biological things, like Vampires and Werewolves.

After she confessed everything, including her use of hypnosis to charm him, Drake also confessed, pointing out how he had felt for her long before she had tried, and whatever she had tried did not work. After he said that, he asked her to turn him, as they had not had sex yet. Jane, being so happy that Drake felt for her in more than just some illusion, agreed instantly. The real issue came in when Roberto told him that he knew what he was. Drake, while he loved his father, was scared that he would be rejected by him, mostly due to long developed paranoia. However, with the recent death of his wife, Roberto did what he could to secure a healthy relationship with what was left of his family.

As time passed, Drake realized the various weaknesses that came with Vampirism. Sunlight, he countered with simply either covering himself entirely, or only coming out at night. Due to not being an idiot, he claimed he had a sensitive skin condition which caused sunlight to irritate his skin, which was practically true. Running water was a far less active weakness, since he did not live by any rivers or lakes, so he did not have to deal with it. Finally, the largest weakness he held was of silver and holy items. Mostly, he countered this weakness with thick gloves, and avoiding touching anything like that. Not doing so would be a grievous misuse of common sense.

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. Roberto and Jane were no different. In fact, they were more similar than anyone realized, in that they both managed to piss of the elitist vampire who turned Jane. Thankfully, this vampire was not powerful. Unfortunately, Drake had not been around when he attacked. In a sick twist of fate, the day that Jane and Roberto died had been a day after Drake's twenty third birthday. His latest two gifts from the two were rather simple, but meaningful. From Roberto, he received a blue cloak, since he knew of Drake's love of certain styles of clothing, such as cloaks and trench coats. From Jane, he received a sword. This sword, however was special, as the blade was made of silver, while the hilt was made of steel. Jane had called in a favor from a blacksmith, who mostly made decorative weapons, to do so. Thankfully, the weapon itself was capable of cutting just fine.

The vampire was very weak due to various problems that he was not aware of, likely having not drank any blood for a long time due to being under suspicion by a catholic priest. Even so, he was stronger than Jane and Roberto. This was especially true since Jane had never been a physical fighter. By the time Drake found them, both were dead. Roberto from blood loss, obviously having been drunk dry, while Jane had died from a dagger to the heart. The vampire was still there, and Drake decided to put his gift to good use, carving the shockingly weaker vampire into pieces, and hiding said pieces by.  After a few months of mourning, and a few more of trying to live normally, Drake realized enough was enough and decided to put his power to good use, especially since living in the same house as Jane was driving him crazy.

Unfortunately, his adventures did not come about until his twenty fifth birthday, where he overheard a conversation in a red light district bar. It was between two, obviously drunk, mercs, who complained about the impossibility of a job. Drake, deciding to take a chance, offered to complete it. The drunk and delirious Mercs agreed. As expected, Drake completed the minor job rather easily and became introduced into the life style of a mercenary. As such, he made sure to get his sword sharpened, to better deal with enemies. As a reward for the job, Drake was awarded a few things. The first was a handgun, nothing too special about it, with the second being the promise that one of the Mercs would tell him if any jobs they could not do popped up, as well as a connection to some people who were often customers.

Surprisingly, Drake enjoyed the mercenary jobs, and quit his job to pursue the occupation full time, easily living off of the money he earned. Further, he adopted a vagabond-style life, moving from city to city, with the house his father owned, as well as the house Jane owned, still in his name, and being rented out, since he could not stand to live in either. During this time, he learned how to shoot a gun, though he limited himself to handguns for simplicity.

I have a feeling this guy is basically the Star-Lord of nicknames.

Did...did we just Fridge someone in the very first paragraph of this sheet? That takes actual talent. I'm impressed.

Not sure what messiness has to do with softness. Does he not wash it, too?

What tribe does he belong to, exactly?

This guy is super overweight for his height. Either he's jacked or a pile of blubber.

Saying he's like all the other boys in the land won't cut it. He needs an actual description as to his body parts and what he looks like. The only thing I actually know about his appearance right now is that he's tall, has incredibly interesting hair, and that he's built like a jiggly brick.

Clothing is non-descript, too. What is this body armor? What's this cloak look like? How's that shirt cut? Does he not like socks?

We don't talk about that handle wrap or the other details from that picture, so I'm forced to assume it's totally plain metal. Also, silver is not a weapon. Swinging a pure silver sword against anything will cause it to snap. If you're really okay with him having a weapon that's essentially worthless as a weapon, then you're welcome to use it, but I'd recommend you rethink that.

Seems pretty pointless unless you're concerned with losing your weapon a lot. In which case, I'd recommend some grip training.

Magazine, not a clip. 20 rounds is the standard for this gun, and that's not even going into the states that restrict it to 10. 30 and up is for military, so unless you've got some great connections, 40 is nonsense.

You know that bullet meeting steel isn't going to go as well for you as it would with Wonder Woman, right? Thick or not, they're going to dent, which is going to break some bones in your hand after enough times.

It helps if you give us a grade on that armor. That way there's no guess and check as to what's going to be stopped or plow right through you. Also, if you don't describe these things in the appearance, you'll need to describe them down here.

Guess he doesn't have anything else.

This kid could use some Prozac and a trip to the therapist.

So far, I get that he's an asshole who hates everyone and wants to use them, except for those people who he decides to act exactly the opposite towards. If you're going to make your guy a douche, go all the way with it, bro. Don't flip flop. Then you're just contradicting yourself. If he was just acting for these people, I'd understand, but the idea that he can have this entirely bleak outlook on life and people to the point where he doesn't give a shit about using someone and throwing them away like garbage, yet will turn around and fight with his life to protect this other random person doesn't really make sense. How's a guy like that even build deep relationships?

I'm not seeing what's so "fucked up" about him here. This is actually a totally different person from the guy I just read about.

Prozac and anger management. Get on it, son.

This continued down to Jane, who spread the ability to Drake. Adding in the natural charisma and manipulating skills that Drake possesses only helped enhance it further, so that the usually Talamaur class ability is accessible even at his Newborn level.

Hypnotism is already a vampire power, which you state. While I'd be okay with you being more skilled with it than others when you reach it, starting out with a power one level up from your peers is a no go. It's only 1 Soul, anyway. Not that big of a task.

I'll give him manipulative, but charming is not how I'd describe this guy in any capacity.

nope.avi wrote:Sword Master - Where most sword 'masters' train a specific style, and very rarely against actual people, Drake constantly sparred against his friend, who was on equal grounds with him in terms of skill. As such, his skill with a sword is far beyond most. It is notable that he does not use a specific style, rather that his sword skills revolve around adapting to the opponent and countering them, rather than being totally offensive or defensive.

Son...

Sonny boy...

My son...

This is not how you sword. Take it from me - someone who can sword - when I say that if you tried this in an actual fight, your head would be on the ground pretty fast. There is a reason why people who use swords do so according to various different forms and schools. They work. And have worked for several hundreds to thousands of years at this point. If you try to jump in there cowboy style and "adapt" without any kind of basic foundation of skill, you'll lose.

Also, everyone spars with other people. They just don't use real swords since they don't want to kill each other. Training swords, practice foils, and weighted boken work just as well.

Yarg wrote:Weapons Expert - Through his natural intelligent and instinct, Drake is capable of applying his sword skills to any bladed weapon, including spears, daggers, claws, and chainsaws, of nearly any style, though the more exotic ones are out of his reach.

Drake Williams Rustle10

Again, guy who can sword here. Using a sword is a completely different thing from using a knife, or spear, or anything else. Just because it's sharp and you can stab with it doesn't mean you'll be an expert at all of them because you're an expert at one, and even that's debatable at this point.

Also, chainsaw. Not a weapon. Probably one of the worst improvised jobs you could pick, honestly. Like, it's not weighted at all for combat. You use it for cutting trees apart. Texas Chainsaw Massacre lied to you.

Foxy the Pirate wrote:Handgun Expert - While not nearly as skilled with a gun as he is with a sword, Drake has proven to be capable of firing accurately, far more so than the normal man, thanks to his vampiric senses. Even then, his ability with handguns does not match true masters, as he lacks both the instinct and experience that most have.

I...guess it's okay. Handguns only, I'll assume.

We'll see wrote:Computer Knowledge - Though he lacks hacking skills, Drake is capable of using a computer and pretty much all programs that run on a computer, with ease. This allows him to use google, which pretty much assures he can learn what he needs to.

So, like every young person on the planet?

Redundancy wrote:Driving Skills - While Drake is capable of driving any domestic vehicle with ease, his most skilled vehicle is a motorcycle. He does not have advanced knowledge of the less domestic vehicles, though he does know how to steer a plane easily, as should anyone with common sense.

Drake Williams Wat8

You realize a car drives different from a truck, which drives different from a SUV, which drives different from a bike, right? And all those things drive different from a PLANE. There is also a reason we have a thing called "pilot school" that people go to to gain the necessary skills to actually fly planes. We're not just banging rocks together here, people. These guys actually know what they're doing. Not just something you can look at and go, "Yep, I got this."

Pilot not found wrote:Charisma - Even without his hypnotism, Drake has proven his skill in manipulation and inspiration over and over. Drake has some ridiculous ability where most people will like him when they first meet him, due to his personality and welcoming nature. However, at the same time, Drake is capable of manipulating nearly anyone he has basic knowledge of rather easily. Alternatively, he can inspire them to do something.

Drake Williams Thatssotrue_3749_1331166173

You mean that personality of, "Pissed off dickhead who makes fun of you every time you speak,"?

This whole thing kind of borders on godmod when you state for a fact that he can so easily manipulate just about anyone.

Chica the Chicken wrote:Throwing Accuracy - While not a specialized skill, such as his melee or handgun skills, Drake can hit nearly anything with a throwing weapon, so long as it is within a 25 meter radius. His skills with throwing weapons range from javelins, his personal favorite, to knives, to grenades, to people.

>says throwing isn't a specialized skill
>hasn't tried it

It takes just as much training to throw a knife as it does to shoot a gun.

Bonnie the Bunny wrote:Language and Understanding - Drake can read, write, understand, and speak both english and french. However, outside of verbal communication, Drake can usually understand people by hand motions, tone, and position. This gives him a vague understanding of what they are trying to say. If someone is screaming at him in another language, and pointing to the side, he will likely look that way and dodge whatever is coming towards him.

That amazing ability to read obvious body language.

Biography wrote:As with most births, Drake's was the aftermath of his parents smacking their genitals together in excess of fifteen minutes.

His mother must be very disappointed.

Poor lady wrote:For the first few years of his life, he was unaware, in that he has no recollection of his years before the age of three.

How the fuck did that happen?

What? wrote:Let it be known that Drake was a very naive and trusting child.

Kind of melodramatic. "I almost died twice! Except neither of those situations was all that dangerous, and I'm totally fine!"

Drama wrote:From the age of five, things began to change very quickly.

Is this guy a priest or a Reverend? Priests can't date.

Theology wrote:Later on, when he started school, his connections to the church proved fatal to his social life before it even began.

While I've got no problem with this scenario, I have to wonder how this place exists in a town like this.

Gurp wrote:However, Drake, during his highschool years, realized this was actually a blessing. For one, while being an outcast meant he had very few friends, they were all completely trustworthy, due to their own lack of friends. Going a step further, Drake realized he had a natural charisma, undamaged by social morals which were created during childhood interactions.

See, still not sure you know what that word means. I can tell you it's not really related to morality. Hitler had a lot of charisma. So did Napoleon. Pretty much every leader in history, really.

Dictionary wrote:One of the less excitable things being an outcast caused him was free time.

Okay, Zoro. Let's calm down a minute. Well, Zoro isn't actually a good comparison. See, he tried to go into a dojo and beat everyone without any training, then got his ass kicked and became a part of it to actually learn how to fight.

This is not how swordsmanship works. You actually need that whole "training" bother you seem to think you can get by without. Also, he really never had any hobbies or interests until high school? What was he doing the past 15 years?

Time Warp wrote:Though most of his training was practical, he did learn some basic theory on stances. His training was mostly with a friend who also had a fondness for swords. Since they were bored teenagers and lived close together, they were able to practice every night, giving Drake more experience than most who actively fought with a sword.

Yeah, you know all those hilarious videos on YouTube where someone cuts their friend's thumb off? This is how they start.

Woops wrote:Among many other hobbies he developed, the two greatest were learning French, and practicing many ranged weapons, ranging from throwing knives to guns, though all were legal.

You realize all these things take time to learn, right? Like, this kid does nothing all day besides school, sure. But where are his teachers? Why is he able to just shit these abilities out all at the same time without any guidance from people who actually know what they're doing?

Unrealistic expectations wrote:Amusingly, this nightly activity gave him enough muscularity to become attractive towards most teenagers around his age.

Not how hypnosis works, bro. Regular horny teenager's going to fall for it. Why anyone is falling for what's essentially Edward Cullen outside of the Twilight books is anyone's guess, but I'm not here to judge her standards in men. I'm here to judge this guy.

Oh, Edward! wrote:She, being a rebellious and somewhat gothic girl, loved dyed hair and tattoos.

So, question. How is this girl able to walk around in the sun? Like, she'd actively start burning at her baby level. Also, why is she bothering with a human? There must have been a guy who turned her, so why not talk to him? They've got a lot more in common right from the start.

So many questions wrote:Unfortunately, as with many families, someone fell ill and died.

There's that tragic backstory. I was wondering when we'd get there.

Here we go wrote:In this case, it was Drake's mother. As it turned out, she had an issue with her heart, and this caused her heart to fail, obviously causing death.

Hmm. The taste is a bit bland, a little corny. Hard to swallow, obviously. I wasn't expecting it. Seriously, I haven't even ordered yet. You just threw this dish in front of me without warning.

I'd like to see the manager wrote:Naturally, Roberto and Drake were devastated.

Is this Holden Caulfield? Like, his pretentiousness is kind of grating at this point.

Catch that Rye wrote:After she confessed everything, including her use of hypnosis to charm him, Drake also confessed, pointing out how he had felt for her long before she had tried, and whatever she had tried did not work.

Wait, what? So, not only did this dumbass kid figure out this girl is a vampire based on logical leaps the size of the Grand Canyon, so does good ol' pops? Based on what? And where'd this paranoia come from? What, does he think the mother's death was caused by gremlins?

Virginity don't matter with vampires. I'm also kind of side-eyeing these horny teenagers not going at it by now. This has been a rather large stretch of time since they first started dating.

Family of Strange wrote:As time passed, Drake realized the various weaknesses that came with Vampirism.

No one notices how he had to completely change his behavior and clothing after this seemingly random event? No one notices how he doesn't eat, drink, or sleep? Vampires who blend in with humans have a hard time doing it. They usually need a lot more planning than a kid could normally be capable of.

Yug wrote:Unfortunately, all good things come to an end.

How the hell did she have connections to a blacksmith? See above for reasons why that last sentence is false.

Womp wrote:The vampire was very weak due to various problems that he was not aware of, likely having not drank any blood for a long time due to being under suspicion by a catholic priest.

Why are all these vampires trying to blend in with society? Also, where are these kids getting their blood? You haven't mentioned anything related to that this entire time? Is pops murdering hobos to feed them, trying his hardest to retain what remnants of family he has left while slipping further and further down a dark and unforgiving path and losing himself in the process? That'd be a good show, actually. AMC, maybe.

Also, it just dawned on me that the siblings seem to have mysteriously vanished, just like his personality traits from that section of the sheet. And sword friend, apparently.

Hurm wrote:Even so, he was stronger than Jane and Roberto.

Wait, what? This kid didn't even do anything with the bodies? The fuck is wrong with him? That was rhetorical. I'm well aware of his problems by now.

Why is she so much weaker? This guy hasn't had anything to drink in forever. Fighter or not, she's trying to save their lives. I think she can take him. Not only that, by the time Drakey-Poo gets there, the vampire's had a meal. He should be able to curbstomp this kid and his ineffective weapon like nothing.

sdkjvhjkakldvd wrote:Unfortunately, his adventures did not come about until his twenty fifth birthday, where he overheard a conversation in a red light district bar.

This is not how mercenaries do business. They'd smash a bottle over his head and continue drinking. They would also not give him their weapons for free and offer to send free money his way.

Nerp wrote:Surprisingly, Drake enjoyed the mercenary jobs, and quit his job to pursue the occupation full time, easily living off of the money he earned. Further, he adopted a vagabond-style life, moving from city to city, with the house his father owned, as well as the house Jane owned, still in his name, and being rented out, since he could not stand to live in either. During this time, he learned how to shoot a gun, though he limited himself to handguns for simplicity.

What was his job to begin with?

Yeah, renting out that house with three corpses worth of people still in there. Good plan, bro.

Also, why is this kid so okay with killing people? Nothing in his personality would indicate he'd be more than happy to go on a murder spree. This is a problem I see with most mercenary characters, and why I told you not to flip flop on his personality back there. If he's an asshole and a sociopath, make him an asshole and a sociopath. I'd buy his incredibly ease with becoming a contract killer way more that way.

All in all, I can't pass this. By the time you edit, it'd be an entire different sheet, so you might as well just start over.
