Aleksey Kuznyetsov

Note: Gonna' see how well I can do this.

Nickname(s): 45581 (Serial Number, found in one of his files.), Gyro (Self-given due to finding it amusing to hang upside down while reading books, then land on his feet.)

Age: 40 (Appears to be late 20's, early 30's, has been active roughly 20 years.)

Race:  Cyborg - Basic (Maaan, You Basic!)

Gender: Pretty sure he's a male. Unless you're blind or something with a really good imagination.

Organization: Red Stahl Freikorps (Going to join in-RP)

Organization Rank: ...Chief of Tanks... o3o

Character's Appearance

Starting with his actual appearance, he stands 5', 8" tall, just under average, with blond hair and green eyes, which do not posses pupils, as they are in fact synthetic, that they appear even remotely real at all is a fairly large achievement. His skin is somewhat pale, but not unnaturally so, the seams where it joins having been hidden quite well, a hair-thin ring, just slightly darker than the rest of the skin, around the base of his neck, shoulders, and where each leg meets his hip. Insulation has been applied to give him a modest appearance, not notably muscular, nor fat, but a nice balance where a normal person should be. His hair is of medium length, swept left across his forehead, and ending just under his eye in length, and the hair on the sides of his head of similar length, though trimmed as to not cover his ears. As is totally not stereotypical with a cyborg, he has a small port at his wrist, whichh is accessed by removing a steel cover, the port designed specially for being able to plug into the mainframe of the laboratory and edit his code, or plug into other electrical objects and manipulate them. His skeleton itself is made of metal, but merely replicates a human skeleton, and provides anchor points for his internal components. So, the only actual armor he possesses is the bulletproof vest he wears.

As for clothing, Aleksey possesses several variations of old, Soviet cold-war era combat uniforms, worn with a bulletproof vest underneath, and one of them fancy kevlar/composite helmets. There's a winter, desert, red-grey, forest, and then solid black version, two of each type, again, with a matching helmet. Of course, with matching boots. At times, he will switch to casual attire consisting of a grey hoodie and black, loose jeans, and shades, for when a task require entering a populated area, but that is fairly rare.

Personality Information

Aleksey is quite an interesting one to describe. There is no set "Personality" as one would normally think, though he operates by a couple of rules, programmed in during his early stages of development. There is a risk/reward calculation, which usually actually takes in the continuity of operation under normal circumstances given an event, not just survival in that moment. Others include one which guides the main program to continue repeating the search function, attempting to expand the amount of knowledge contained. Another, aimed to the calculation of the most efficient way of removing threats.

If attempted to be compared to a regular person, he would be seen as that of a man who, finding himself lacking knowledge, sought out more of the world, while attempting to preserve himself in the long run. Not a pessimist or optimist, but an opportunist, using all available possibilities when they come into play to make sure that they would end up on top, one way or another. Almost a man who knows nothing but conversations involving military orders and programming, save some small remarks for regular chitchat. Aleksey himself can actually smile, and tell a couple jokes that he's been told, and usually is about as good as a normal person at catching a new one. Unlike that one guy from Guardians of the Galaxy. Nothing could pass over his head, his reflexes were too fast.

Speaking of that wonderful for now part, I think that should go in here, not Abilities, SO:

Seeing as he can expand and add new things, he can also add new methods of retrieval, and updated processing, such as if one overhauled the shit singlethreaded code of Bigworld engine to the beautiful Havok engine. Maybe at some point (definitely at some point) he can (will) actually be able to learn and converse similarly, and relatively close to, a normal human.

Equipment Information

PPSh-41: Firing 7.62×25mm Tokarev ammunition from two kinds of magazine. The second version of the 71-round drum, of which he carries one. This is the improved kind with the 1mm thick walls, instead of the crappy, easily breakable .5mm walls on the first version. He then carries four 35-round stick magazines, two on each thigh, for backup. The weapon uses a sling.

TT-33: Fires the same ammunition from 8-round box magazines, four are carried on the body and one in the weapon, for a total of five.

AK-47: An assault rifle aquired from the armory of the facility. It is equipped with a sling, for more easy carrying. Fires 7.62x39 ammunition from 30-round magazines, of which he carries five, one in the weapon and four on his person.

Onto the fun stuff~

SU-130-18 Prototype: Mounting a 130mm smoothbore gun on a 4-round leniar autoloader, having a 1.5 second interdrum and a 10 second drum dump to reload, with 60 rounds of AP ammunition carried, 24 rounds of HEAT, 20 rounds HE, and 16 rounds of APCR. The vehicle itself is similar in appearence to a T-54, though somewhat smaller. However! The armor is thicker due to the design of the vehicle, coming in at the thinnest being 2.15 meters on the rear of the vehicle (2.2m the rest of the vehicle, thickest armor is 2.5 on the upper glacias, or 2.7 on the turret front), the entrance hatch itself being a plug-type hatch, copied from the Object 263-152, and just as thick as the armor around it. The only room in the vehicle is that of three small screens displaying in front, behind and then a rotary armored camera in a small bump the size of a fist in the top of the turret.

The powerplant is an improved design of the gas turbine design originally developed by the Germans, outputting 6,200 HP, the vehicle itself being a 36-ton chassis, giving a HP/t ratio of a little over 172, top speed of the vehicle being 160 miles per hour on a paved surface, or 80 miles per hour on mild terrain, while actual speed may vary due to the terrain. Only an idiot tries to go through hedgerows at full speed. You might flatten a civvie truck or something.

Character Abilities

Being a mechanical being has some benefits, at least to balance the cons of things like; Not being able to talk to your friends about video games, go to walmart, other fun stuff. That stuff includes being able to simply download recipes, maps, data tables for weapons, stuff like that! Maybe even that fancy enhanced eyesight that is sharp at long distances! Or maybe stuff like the short-range wall-penetrating thermal vision that you might have that has a maximum range of 100 feet.

Regenerative Potential: Level 0 (None)
Physical Abilities: Level 0 (Peak Human)
Durability: Level 1 (Minor resistance to blunt weapons) Yes. Have fun beating me with a club, some-random-guy-in-Detroit.

Character Biography

Not so long ago, outside a theater, a young boy looks on helplessly as his parents are both shot by a mugg- Wait, that's the plot to Batman.

October sixteenth, 1974. For the previous twenty six years, under almost no supervision, two men had worked under virtually no supervision. Absolutely none, now as they had began this new project, the assembly of a mechanical, synthetic soldier. One that did not require rations or rest. It was a grand idea, and enough of their previous work went into it that they were at least able to acquire extra funding for this project, which all went well. At least, as well as a decently meticulous assembly of a fake body could go. Why can't these things just grow normally?

Years of work passed, and in 1978, the body was complete, parts assembled, and they began work on the code. This, as it appeared, was as complicated as any normal person would have thought. Now, their funding was in question, and in order to at least have a reason to recieve funding at all, the two went to the senior officer of the facility, presenting ideas of gas turbine engine development, which were merely improvements on captured German designs from the Turbopanther from the second world war. Setting a seperate division to work on that, more funding, though still somewhat limited and very minute compared to the rest maintaining the Soviet Union. Thus, they were able to continue their work. In mid October, 1991, the code was ready to be compiled, which, of course, began.

The problem with this arises on December 25th, 1991. Not so much rises as lowers, that lowering being the hammer and sickle in Moscow. And also the lowering kind of the blast doors on the facility's bunker, which comprise the whole place. More so now that Russia had pressing matters. That of money, and disarmament. Much like other bunkers, though this one wasn't later controlled by a PCM, not approved by old Soviet military men, it seemed. And thus, as there were more pressing matters, the documents and papers were archived, along with a couple million Twinkies, for future generations.

Now then, the facility was abandoned, still running on its generators, the code still compiling. That is, a long ass time. Not quite as long as it took the most powerful computer to compute the meaning of life, only to give directions to a more powerful computer, but still, three years. Three years after the compiling was switched on, a nice, pin-sized green light turned on upon the main console, free of dust due to the sealed nature of the building. A couple moments later, emerald eyes opened, staring up at the ceiling, then slowly looking around. There he sat, observing the dimly lit area he had awoken in. He knew the purpose of the facility, the ones who originally had designed and worked on him. You see, usually people program that in to avoid problems of understanding with their creations, but plot advancement in movies is important. The two happened to have done a rather good job with the original code, the open-ended program able to add more to itself was quite a good idea.

He spent several months inside the facility, walking around, reading through whatever documents were left around silently, alone. Alone like someone who had just had their parents killed by a mugger. A mugger known as currency and parents that represent a well oiled and running facility. Eventually, he made his way to the second section, coming across the armory he had been instructed initially to find and equip himself from, as well as the armored vehicle development division, eventually making his way back to the main area he had started from, now having scraped knowledge from the walls of the building as if they were people who decided to run into a lawn as opposed to a fortified building to escape an explosion caused by an airborn object. He now had to find something else.

Something hopefully military.

Something most definitely within Russia. He remembered reading that during the Cold War, private military companies were something arms dealers employed. Private military companies might be something at least looking into. To do that, he'd only have to turn to the main computer. Slowly, RUnet was connected to, then the main search bar, to which he simply typed in Russian-Based private military corporations. Now, noting that this isn't public internet, but rather the Russian military database, things like this were bound to be found. Unfortunately, it was the old Soviet database. However, he was intrigued by the continuation of entries by names he recognized from reports read in other areas of the facility, some even having been the ones responsible for funding. Rather trustworthy. There were relatively few names, though a couple kept popping up. That one being... Red Stahl Freikorps. At least it said it was located in Russia, and the chatter claimed it paid relatively well. After a bit of debating, he moved the selector to the application button with a couple keystrokes, and hit enter, the next screen loading.

Also, the previous topic (Husky) can be removed, since the character has been reworked and that accursed Edit button is failing me. :l

The edit button problem is fixed by the way. Also you seem to have forgotten the picture in your app. Notice the boxy page being slashed out in the appearance section.

Pretty sure that's a GoBot.

I guess I could image you're a unicorn. Pretty short horn, though.

Awful lot of assumptions about what normal people look like so far.

That hair seems like a poor decision.

How's that skeleton work, exactly? Because a fully metal skeleton is going to have to have some repercussions on the body. It needs to be able to move the same way regular bones do, and your tissue is going to get really fucked over time from constant stress and rubbing, since you're a lot heavier than a normal person.

Average human that's your height would be around 175 lbs, and the human skeleton is about 35% of the body's weight. That's 62.3 lbs alone. Since we don't actually know what metal you're talking about here and have no weight on you to begin with, that's where my calculations end, but you're going to expend a hell of a lot of energy just moving around normally if you don't pick a metal light and strong enough to logically replace bone, and that still won't fully account for the problems I mentioned earlier. Things to think about.

What grade is this vest? Because doing that here saves an awful lot of problems later when my bullets are punching through your chest and people want to argue.

Sounds like Konoha, but you wandered off and got lost at some point, reuniting with the group to face off against the villain before he kills you instantly and takes your body.

I don't get this, though. You explicitly say at first that he has no personality, but there is a personality in there. Why would he have motivation to converse or tell jokes if not for some sort of personality?

Yeah, metal skeleton, plus enough ammunition to supply a small army. Does he at least have a backpack for this, or something?

Like, is it in your contract that every single character drives a fucking tank?

One of the provisions when I was talking with your leader about the group is that you can't just have a standing army full of tanks and anti-aircraft weaponry when this was supposedly just created and has limited personnel and resources. Pretty sure this violates that.

From another perspective, this is not an okay thing to have. Your other guy gets a tank because he's fairly useless in a fight and is never going to use it. This guy will not only use it, it gives him the ability to run over conceivably any inconvenience he could find. There's maybe two characters right now who could potentially harm this thing, and that's assuming they can even get close enough to do that, since you've got crazy future technology to eliminate even the need for a hatch to look out.

And I guess he has nothing but an abundance of weapons.

First off, no one wants to go to fucking Walmart if they don't have to.

Second, if you're saying your guy has an internet connection that lets him instantly download any information he wants, then you're Prometheus and I'm going to have Spock smash this application into the ground and let Brandon Cole shoot you in the forehead with an arrow. That's a bunch of bullshit in the DC Universe, and it's a bunch of bullshit here. Frankly, you're very vague as to how organic you even are. Do you even have a brain still, or is this guy just an android? At least that would make brain downloads believable.

Third, what can he actually do besides cheat? Because if you're really thinking I'll let you go bebopping around town downloading whatever you need at a moment's notice to counter every opposition you could face...

Fourth, that's not even remotely close ranged. Linkara was right: Words just mean whatever you want them to now. Close ranged is, like, five feet. Maybe ten if you're pushing it.

There sure was a lot of plot-convenient information in that bunker.

You realize that group is, like, brand new, right? A database that hasn't been updated since Soviet times would not have that in there. And why do they have a website like this?

This does not seem adequately planned out. You're relying on outdated Soviet technology that has been able to function for three full years without maintenance or any human contact to miraculously be advanced enough to create an adaptive AI that is in any way, shape, or form as effective as a human soldier. You're severely lacking any motivation as to why this guy exists, considering the tremendous amount of work and money it would take to make it, and the fact only two random jackoffs were doing this as opposed to a team of Russia's top scientists is just dumb.

Also, why did they make it a penis?

Maybe if you can fix this up into something that would be at all probable and could actually exist, I might change my mind, but right now, Spock is going to finish this off for me.
