Claire's Room Empty Claire's Room

Post by Claire Kelly Wed Feb 18, 2015 1:40 am

Claire's room is relatively plain having little in the ways of decoration mainly out of laziness on her part. The room is furnished with a single twin sized bed and a metal desk along with a semi-comfortable looking armchair in one corner of the room. Sitting atop her desk is a 30 inch plasma TV and connected to it is a PS2 along with a small collection of old games and game cases. Beside her bed on the floor is Claire's laptop along with a small collection of books from her favorite authors. At the foot of her bed is a moderately large pile of moving boxes labeled various things from "Books." to simply "Random Crap."

Though the room is plain it has a slight homely feel that most lived in locations have. The room also has a small closet which is at the moment quite empty likely due to the fact that the box labeled "Clothes." Sitting beside it is still taped shut.

Claire's Room Empty Re: Claire's Room

Post by Eleanor Harkness Wed Feb 18, 2015 2:09 am

After dodging and diving past more than one struggling group of convicts and guards, the entered an area of relative calm. Coding herself into the corridor outside the main barracks, Eleanor takes a quick look at the medic's face; the woman looked tied and anxious and more than a little bloodied.

Sweeping through the doors, the spy hustles the other woman through the maze of halls until they come to a quick halt outside Claire's room. Keying in the medic's code (the same as her Playstation password, but she was never going to bring that bit up), she drags them both into the room.

Just as the door closes, Eleanor peels off her helmet and mask, scrubbing her short locks with a gloved hand.

"Alright, time to strip, then shower."

She drops her gear on the desk and reaches out to unfasten the armor on Claire's chest, unsnapping the connectors with practiced ease.

"You have two options when you are finished showering. One, get dressed and go help those who are injured. Or two, stay here, get comfy, eat the chocolate I know you have stashed and watch terrible television."

Once the last strap is removed, Eleanor allows the light armor to swing free and hang from one hand. Her other comes up to cup Claire's chin. "Either way, if you need me, you call me."

She grips the woman's jaw just a little harder to make her point, then steps back and grabs the rest of her gear. Tossing a bright white smile to the medic, Eleanor opens the door and steps out.

"I would suggest the latter, but hey, that's just the lazy in me talking."

She winks once and heads out the door.

Claire's Room Empty Re: Claire's Room

Part of Claire wanted to know how the hell Eleanor knew the code to her door. But quickly decided it wasn't worth questioning as she was dragged into her room. Luckily her room was untouched unlike it appeared that the riot hadn't stretched this far into the facility. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't relieved if any of those convicts had touched her copy of Resident Evil 4 there would be hell to pay.

As they entered she watched as Eleanor removed her mask and helmet allowing her to view the woman's face once more. The sentiments from earlier hadn't faded just one look at the woman's face still brought up feelings of attraction and admiration. If she hadn't caught herself she likely would have just spent a few minutes staring at the woman but a quick mental scolding of how awkward that would be killed that idea before it could come to pass.

She stood still as Eleanor unclasped the armor Claire had been wearing for the past half hour. She had almost forgotten that the protective chest piece had been there. Eleanor gave her a few quick instructions to strip and go take a shower an idea that Claire was more than happy to oblige. As the last clasp of the armor fell free she felt Eleanor cup her chin the medic's eyes quickly found Eleanor's own as she devoted her attention to the blonde woman. "I will." Claire said nodding at Eleanor's insistence that she call if she needed her.

She returned the woman's smile feeling a slight fluttering feeling in the pit of her stomach just from seeing it. "Thank you." Claire said but she wasn't sure the operative had heard her as the woman swept out the door shutting it behind her shooting her a wink before taking her leave. This left Claire alone now she glanced down at her sidearm still gripped in her hand before walking over to the box sitting beside her closet. She pulled one of the knives Eleanor had given her from the sheath that had come with it and quickly cut a line through the tape sealing the box.

Upon opening it Claire picked out a simple outfit a black T-shirt with a pair of Khaki cargo pants. Folding the clothes and holding them to her chest she stepped back out into the hall closing her door behind her before heading to the women's locker room on this floor. Her hand still tightly wrapped around the grip of her sidearm as she left.
