San Francisco International Airport. (Mission for Roy.) Empty San Francisco International Airport. (Mission for Roy.)

Description: SFO always bustling with activity. San Francisco International Airport is almost always packed with people on their way to locations across the globe. The terminal alone is quite large and the airport itself is large enough for a person to easily get lost. The terminal is filled with check in counters, airline representation booths and waiting areas along with multiple stores and restaurants meant to cater to the needs of travelers coming through the airport.

As part of the steps being taken to improve relations between America's VWAT and Japan's own Counter-Supernatural task force a high ranking member of Japans CSTF is being sent to the States for a diplomatic visit. Due to a delay in the diplomat's flight to Fort Belvoir their flight has been transferred to SFO. In a quick attempt to make preparations for the unexpected change of plans a VWAT operative has been dispatched to SFO along with a small security detail to escort the diplomat to a private air strip for transit to Fort Belvoir. Unfortunately the security officials at SFO have only just recently been informed of the diplomat's visit and also the imminent arrival of the VWAT security detail. So some members of security may not be up to speed on the current situation.

San Francisco International Airport. (Mission for Roy.) Empty Re: San Francisco International Airport. (Mission for Roy.)

Roy did not know why he had been chosen for this mission specifically. But he had a few guesses, this man probably wouldn't be used to some of their more, less average agents. Here he was thinking about the cyborgs, and the super humans, and the crazy murderous prisoners, etc.  He wasn't sure if this man had ever involved himself with the supernatural actually. It seemed then, that he would be the best choice of agents in that case. Being one of the most skilled field agents that was still a relatively normal human, and not to mention his intense knowledge of oriental etiquette. Yes given that, it seemed he was one of the best choices for this.

He was thankful that he would have some back up going in however, he would need their eyes and ears on this just in case something did actually go down. He spoke with the three agents coming in to this with him. Telling them on their way to make sure that they only tailed them when they walked through crowds, they couldn't look suspicious, dress in civilian clothes and carry pistols, but, really good pistols. He made sure they knew that they would have to intercept any attacks that come from behind them, as he escorted the VIP. They would have to follow them at three different intervals so they could each keep on eye on different sections of the crowds or people that were behind them(including airport security themselves). He gave them pointers on how to look casual and inconspicuous. He would take the front, and keep on eye on everything they passed like buildings and pedestrians. Looking for key sniping positions and suspicious looking people. He would also act as the main enforcer, or meat shield. Whichever was required in case something did go down.

Getting out of their armored transportation vehicle Roy sighed as he felt the vest underneath him. He normally wouldn't carry one around on himself but his superiors had insisted, since it was less likely that a bullet would go through him and two lairs of the vest in to it's real target, the VIP. It would be uncomfortable, but not debilitating. Already first foot out of the car Roy scanned the area for anything that looked out of place, especially the people and especially key positions. He and his men began walking and he wasn't going to be dropping this guard any time soon.

He would want to get out of this as soon as he could, get his men their rifles back as soon as they entered their vehicle again. But as it was he needed some decent eyes behind him in this very crowded airport. Certain sacrifices had to be made. But if all went well it wouldn't be long before they could all just board their transport and have the benefit of "home turf" so to speak.

Roy smiled easily as he saw the presumed VIP approach wit his two body guards. He hoped for their sake that they were professionals. He held up his hand, showing him his V.W.A.T. credentials. Or rather, since V.W.A.T. didn't exist, his official military papers for the transport of this man.

Roy kept his eyes peeled on the man and his surroundings as he leaned over to one of the security guards and showed him his own papers as well.

"Tell your boys to stay alive out there alright? This man is a high ranking member of the Japanese government and he's here on a diplomatic mission. I'm his escort. It would help me out considerably if you had your men keep their eyes open for me, and maybe get them ready to pull out a taser or something if they see anything eh?"

The man took his papers and looked at them for a moment before pulling out his walkie talkie and giving out a message to the rest of the security stationed there. Telling them that they had a high ranking official rom Japan entering for diplomatic purposes and they were to be on extra alert, and extra cautious until he left their premises. Roy didn't know how effective this would be but he knew that this was a rather hastily put together escort and as such these men probably weren't entirely up to detail.

(VIP Takashi Hirano Unarmed)
(Bodyguard 1 Shun Yoshioka Smith and Wesson Model 500 Revolver)
(Bodyguard 2 Isao Sato x2 Ruger GP100 .357 Revolvers)

As the security officer was pulled aside by Roy he was slightly baffled as he was quickly shown papers and given instructions. Unsure of what exactly to do rather than relaying the message to his peers as the bearded man had thought he quickly relayed the message to his superior in the security office. After a short conversation regarding Roy the officer quickly walked off papers in hand to present the credentials to the head of security. As such most of security remained uninformed in regards to Roy's instructions. Military or not protocol couldn't just be ignored and if the head of security wished to see the papers he would.

While this message carrying went to pass the VIP an older gentlemen by the name of Takashi Hirano would appear through the crowd flanked by his two protectors on either side of him. The man appeared elderly but in truth he had seen his own fair share of field action. Though with his old age any evidence of this had long since faded away no longer was he the young man who once bumped back against the beings that went bump in the night. He still managed to serve however even if his position was merely as a show of good will to whoever JNVDO chose to send him to.

Both Shun and Isao his bodyguards appeared to be the textbook definition of calm neither of their faces holding any particular expression except for what one might call boredom. Both were dressed in a business like appearance but both were more than capable of performing their duties regardless of how restrictive their wardrobe might have been. As Takashi approached Roy he nodded as the american man bowed respectfully and as much as his old bones permitted him to Takashi bowed back. "Good Evening Mr.D-Dimer-" Takashi struggled to pronounce the foreign name stopping only as Isao quickly whispered something in Japanese.

Takashi glanced back and nodded and responded back in his native tongue. Isao came forward "Mr.Dimercurio on behalf of Mr.Hirano we thank you for meeting with us. If you would not mind may we please vacate this place quickly? It is very...public here..." Isao stated.

Roy nodded his head to the man and responded to him. "My thinking exactly. We have an armored vehicle waiting for you outside. Keep your eyes on the security guards and consider me your personal meat shield for the time being."

Roy motioned for the entourage of people to follow him, however, he made sure to keep his eyes on the two guards that accompanied the Japanese ambassador. He did not trust them for some reason, though he couldn't explain why.

Roy was attentive and vigilant as he walked, it felt like he was in the eye of a storm, just waiting for it to pick up again. He didn't know what was coming, but he was sure it would be fun.
